Everything we do is a fruit of our faith. God sent his son Jesus to take away our sins and remove our guilt forever, so it's only natural that we serve him with thanks. Christ Alone Lutheran is an important member of the community. But our local church has broader reach than just far north Fort Worth. Through our partnership with our national church body, we can help spread God's kingdom throughout the world.

Christ Alone Lutheran Church is part of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS). The WELS, characterized as theologically conservative, is the third largest Lutheran church body in America. With national offices in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, WELS began in 1850 when three German pastors met in Milwaukee. Today, it has grown to over 1200 congregations in North America. It has over 400,000 baptized members, which includes over 300,000 communicants, served by over 1000 pastors.

The synod operates four ministerial education schools: Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary, Mequon, Wisconsin; Martin Luther College, New Ulm, Minnesota; Luther Preparatory School, Watertown, Wisconsin; and Michigan Lutheran Seminary, Saginaw, Michigan.

As members of the WELS, we share with our fellow believers in our synod's stated mission:  As men, women, and children united in faith and worship by the Word of God, the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod exists to make disciples throughout the world for time and for eternity, using the gospel in word and sacrament to win the lost for Christ and to nurture believers for lives of Christian service, all to the glory of God.

Christ Alone Lutheran was founded in 2010 here in north Fort Worth/Keller and began work reaching out to the residents of far north Fort Worth. With an emphasis on the word of God, relevant preaching, and outreach, Christ Alone has grown in size but our core beliefs haven't changed a bit. We remain focused on our mission of reaching out with the good news of the Savior Jesus Christ who died on the cross to pay for all sins and rose again to give eternal life.

Christ Alone Lutheran Church worships the Triune God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  We accept the Bible as God’s inspired and errorless word.  It is the only source of truth for life and for eternity.

Christ Alone is dedicated to preaching the truth, that God has prepared a way to save sinners from eternal damnation by sending His Son, Jesus Christ.  By Jesus’ perfect life and innocent death, the sins of all people have been paid for in full.  Jesus’ resurrection is proof of this!  Whoever believes (trusts) in Jesus has the forgiveness of sins, possesses eternal life now, and has a certain future with Jesus in heaven.  Believers in Jesus have been given the new life of faith by which they offer their lives in service to the Lord and all people.

The mission of Christ Alone is to proclaim this eternal gospel (the good news), “that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them” (2 Corinthians 5:19).  It is this gospel that gives our church its name:  Christ Alone Lutheran Church—He did it all!

As we go through life, each of us needs a place where we can sense the presence of God and worship him, where we can receive spiritual strength and guidance, where we can receive strength for the week ahead, where we can be part of a caring group of people and receive encouragement along the way.

The people of Christ Alone and I have been moved by the love of God in Christ Jesus.  In Christ we have found peace and purpose for our lives.  In one another, we have found the joy of a Christian family.

Wherever you may be at this point in your life, there is a place for you at Christ Alone. We look forward to meeting you and experiencing the life of love of God at Christ Alone.  Come and be our guest.
